How to gay relationships in Tomodachi life

Tomodachi life, due on June 6, is a 3DS simulator game where you have to take care of a city full of Miis. Developer Nintendo garnered the ire of fans when it was noted that the game is not Miis of the same sex to fall in love with each other would allow.

Nintendo has since apologized and said it would be more inclusive in future iterations of the game--but that it could not change if the current game.

However, is there a way--an imperfect way, but nevertheless a way--to make it happen. You see, the in-game Mii Creator all operations can be carried out, personality, clothing and vote for your Mii. So, say, starting with a male Mii, you can add a female hairstyle and facial features, make up, name, voice and her dress in female clothes from the clothing store.

Meet Jessi. Note the sex field on the lower screen. For all practical purposes in the game-that is, falling in love, getting married, having babies--Jessi will be attracted to female Miis.

Similarly, Bob will is attracted to male Miis. Now, we're not quite sure how pregnancy works in the game, since we have not played that far ahead, so it's quite possible that Bob too, a baby in his stomach at some point can have.

Bob, if he ever gets married will also wear a wedding dress on the big day, and other characters in the game will use the gender pronouns for these characters base sex--Jessi call "he" and Bob "she"--that is shocking. As we said, it's a imperfect solution--but if you play the same sex relationships in Tomodachi to life, for some, it may be a better solution than not at all.
